The Fork in the Road: To Stay Put or Continue On?

If someone knows where you have gone, the search will be quicker and easier for the Search and Rescue teams!

Past articles have defined the word survival and discussed the importance of being prepared.
We arrive now at “the fork in the road” where you, the survivor” will have to decide if it is better to remain where you are and allow search and rescue (SAR) forces to find you or to attempt to make your own way back – in essence, “rescue yourself!”  For the survivor, this is a critical point.
